About PCD

Complete wireless solutions for mobile operators, retailers, and distributors — from product development through secondary sales.

Introduced in 2008 and headquartered in Orlando, Florida, PCD manages the entire product lifecycle of wireless devices — unlike other providers in the industry.

We deliver end-to-end solutions spanning product development, distribution, warranty, repair, and secondary sales channels in selected markets.

In 2023 we acquired the Zipkord Solutions brand of mobile, computer, and gaming accessories, expanding our portfolio beyond handset hardware.

Our History Four decades of wireless industry continuity.

1984

Began as the cellular division of Audiovox. Built global manufacturing partnerships to develop some of the first cellular phones.

2004

Audiovox acquired by UTStarcom. Name changed; relationships continued. Delivered wireless devices to carriers across the Americas.

2006

Entered the Central American market under the UTStarcom name.

2008

Became a privately-owned, stand-alone company: PCD. Model, employee base, and management remained in place for a seamless transition.

2013

Quality One Wireless (Q1W) acquires PCD; established as a Latin America exclusive brand.
